  * MAX launch date is based on American Airlines' order commitment on 7/20/11  
      
  ** Lion Air's order of 201 MAX consists of both -8 and -9 models. Note Boeing's press releases (MOU and Firm) only mention Lion being
the launch customer for the -9, without providing order details. The stated order value doesn't support 201 -9s and
Boeing's Asia Sales VP Dinesh Keskar is on record here stating:

"The deal includes 737-8s and -9s. The aircraft will be delivered from 2017 and the first aircraft will be either 737-9s - for which Lion Air will be the
first customer globally - or -8s, for which the airline will be the first operator in Asia."

As the model breakdown is currently unknown, all 201 aircraft are provisionally placed in the base -8 model column. Similar may also apply to
other orders with unknown/unconfirmed model breakdowns, from both manufacturers.
