  As Boeing doesn't distinguish between models in their OD, it remains unclear which customers

Airbus noted on page 22 of their Global Market Forecast 2014-2033 that through August 2014 Boeing had
  accumulated 2219 orders for the MAX - which include 229 737NG conversions from 11 customers. Airbus'
  order book at the time consisted of 3257 NEOs with 120 A320ceo conversions from 5 customers. Some of
  these conversions are listed below while others are still unclear.
 
  September 5:
- BOC Aviation placed an order for 80 737s, including 50 MAX-8 - Boeing

- I moved Zhejiang Loong's previously 'confirmed' 2013 order for 9 NEOs back to MoU status as they're still unaccounted for in Airbus' books. This brings the figures in the tables below back in line with Airbus' official NEO numbers to the end of January where they reported 2610 firm. With the addition of February's 42 NEO for VietJet and 15 for Kuwaut, the NEO should now stand at 2667. Below MAX figures are in line with Boeing through February.
- Republic's order for 80 NEO is now booked under Frontier and they've apparently converted two of their A319neo to A320neo in the process.

  Jan. 20: Flightglobal pointed to Air China and their subsidiary Shenzhen as being behind the undisclosed 60 NEOs. Hopefully Airbus' update through January will provide some clarity with regards to the Zhejiang Loong order, which I've now provisionally allocated to 2014.  
  Jan. 13: Per Airbus' annual press conference, firm NEO orders through December stand at 2,610. 87 NEOs were booked in December: 7 A321neo for Turkish Airlines, 20 NEOs for an undisclosed customer, and another 60 NEOs for two undisclosed customers. The 60 NEOs should include the previously announced firm order for 9 NEOs for Zhejiang Loong. As such, the data below reflects undisclosed customers holding a total of 71 NEO orders.  
  Jan. 08: Boeing's 2013 update included firming of FlyDubai's order for 75 MAX 8 and an additional five undisclosed orders for another 49 aircraft - bringing MAX total firm orders to 1763.  
  Jan. 08: According to Reuters, SpiceJet has placed an order for "as many as 42" MAX, suggesting they may be behind the undisclosed order from October. The data below will be updated pending official confirmation.  
  Dec.31: Turkish Airlines takes 7 A320neo options, bringing their total NEO order to 64 firm - TK
